What if I have food allergies?

All ingredients used in each meal are listed on the ingredients drop down box by the menu. Ingredients in each meal are non-negotiable.

We make every possible effort to eliminate the risk of cross contamination during meal preparation, however contamination of different allergens may occur in even the most conscientious of establishments. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us; we will be happy to discuss them with you.

Can I alter a meal?

All ingredients are set in stone; you may alter the meals in a package i.e., “no chicken curry in my order, I’d like to replace it with a braised beef,” but no individual meals will be altered. Each meal has been carefully crafted to be well balanced and to add a wide range of nutritional value.

In the ordering screen, there is a space titled, “Order Notes,” where you may list any alterations to the meals in the package.

How long do the meals keep for?

We recommend keeping the meals for no longer than 3 months frozen, 4 days thawed and refrigerated.

What is your recycling policy?

We recycle internally and would ask our customers to recycle in their homes and at work.

How do I change my address after an order has been placed?

Email ASAP after placing an order. Leave a detailed message including your name, address, phone number, previous address, and desired address. This must be sent before 12:00pm, Wednesday afternoon, as deliveries are processed and delivered the following day.

How long should I cook the meal?

It is recommended that the meal be thawed before re-heating. Place in a pot of water, bring to a boil for 3 minutes and reduce to a simmer for a further 7 mins. This should bring your meal up to the desired cooking temperature. If you continue to boil past the recommended time, the seal on the bag may be compromised and the meal may be spoiled. Standard cooking instructions are also provided with each order.

What if I live in a condo building, or outside the delivery limits?

If you live in a condo and won’t be home during the scheduled delivery time, or you happen to live outside the delivery limits, we recommend you arrange a drop off location at a friend or family member’s house within Sherwood Park or the Anthony Henday Ring. Not only will you receive your meals, but you’ll also have an excuse to visit with them!
