We love pasta that doesn’t have the guilt factor. We use whole wheat penne and a house-made rose sauce packed with fresh veggies and balanced with olive oil and tomato paste. We also threw in some extra protein and fiber with red quinoa, bell peppers, and green beans, then topped it all off with a healthy dose of oregano – a favorite spice of ours.
This food is low in Saturated Fat and very low in Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber and Selenium, and a very good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Manganese.
